first trial of the LJ78 Landcruiser

I wanted to get a feel for my Landcruiser's capabilities, so found a short greenlane route. It's start was just over the road from a job i was doing, so I was wsas starting quite late at about 5pm. The route was a bit technical, with a steep rock step, wet and muddy areas, and forest. I was impressed!

Aquisition: Landcruiser II LJ78 'Prado'

I was after a 4x4 camper and something a bit different. Eventually I came across the Toyota Landcruiser LJ78, and it came with accessories like a winch and rooftent. There are loads of images and videos of this truck online in the hands of the previous owner. Here it is in a local quarry

The model is quite rare and has a world-wide following. Here are some others

takin photos with my telescopic mast of Fictoria Doc in Caernarfon

Testing a telescopic mast rig and taking some shots at Caernarfon's Fictoria Dock,
Looking towards Galeri, and Cwmni Da, Twthill in the distance, nice perspective on the curvature of the dock wall. A plain sunset by Caernarfon standards, but still stunning.
